Nicolas:
Oh Nicolas, Nicolas, Nicolas.  If you know this kid you can't help but fall in love with him.  He is a "mini-Greg" and yet a little of his mom as well.  He has an insatiable desire to constantly learn.  He started reading at 3 1/2 and his favorite thing to do is reserve books at the library and pick them up the minute they come in (as I said-Greg).  For instance, today I found him logging on to the library website; putting in his username/password; and ordering star wars, dinosaur, and dragon books (gotta keep an eye on this boy).  He also has an intense love for peppermint and peppermint gum.  We can hide gum ANYWHERE in the house and he seems to have it in his mouth...we haven't figured it out.

Nicolas loves riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, soccer, tennis, ice skating, kissing Charlie, idolizing daddy, and learning about different countries.  He doesn't know it but he is getting a guitar for Christmas and he will start lessons in 2012.  He loves the guitar...which is handy for living in our neck of the woods.  There is nothing more joyous than sitting with this little guy, cuddling real tight, and reading a book about anything non-fiction....it doesn't matter what it is....he wants to know how and why it works.  He's really something.
