Before the kids go to bed, we either play them videos from when they were younger or we read them a journal entry from the journals we've kept since they were born (and before). At times I anguish because we really do spend so many hours trying to document these babies lives even at the latest hours of the night before we fall asleep. Yet, when I watch their joy when they learn about themselves and who they've become...those hours of writing, recording, pondering what they would like to know as they grow...have started to be reaped. I'm so glad they love to watch their lives as much as we have LOVED watching them.
